Laboratory Work Schedule for EIE304, 2008/2009 Semester 1
Time: Monday 8:30am-11:30am
Venue: Lab CF005
Lab demonstrators: S.Y. Lam, Ben Cheng and Grace Chu
Basic Principles:
- Two students will team up for each lab, but not more than three.
- Each group (composed of two students) will do three labs in total. The labs are EN013, EN015 and EN107.
Logistics:
- You nominate your own partner(s). I'll collect all the names from your
class representative.
- There will be about 68 groups, each composed of 2 students.
- The groups will be divided into three blocks.
- Blocks will be named as A, B and C.
- Each block has around 23 groups.
Groups will therefore be named as
A1, A2, A3, ..., B1, B2, B3, ..., C1, C2, C3, ...
- Thus, each group will be given a group number, which is either of the following:
A1, A2, A3, ..., B1, B2, B3, ..., C1, C2, C3, ...
- Groups An will do their labs on Sept 29, Oct 20 and Nov 10.
- Groups Bn will do their labs on Oct 6, Oct 27 and Nov 17.
- Groups Cn will do their labs on Oct 13, Nov 3 and Nov 24.
- Each time do a different lab, until you have done all three labs.
Reports and Logs:
- All students must bring their log books.
- Record all things that happen during the lab in your log books. See my "Notes on Practical Work" which was distributed to you earlier.
- Submit a full report for each lab when you come for the next lab. For the last one, you submit it before the end of the teaching semester.
